ZØDA

Brand Identity | Packaging

This zero-calorie soda brand was born from my caffeinated seltzer addiction and beverage packaging obsession. The use of zeros in the brand identity inspired the tech style, which led to the inclusion of pixelated fruit. I was able to incorporate fun type into the packaging and practice my layout skills in a new context. This assignment was a design sprint, which also showed me how to come up with a complete brand guide in a shorter period of time.

Brand Identity

Z0DA's logo features a logotype mark, with the letter "O" replaced by a zero, which is also used in the brand's patterns. The zero element is derived from Z0DA's zero-calorie soda focus and is used throughout the brand identity.

Packaging Design

To depict the various flavors, I designed pixelated fruit illustrations. The can design features a limited color palette of five main colors, with the fruit designs simplified to maintain consistency. The cardboard carrier for a pack of cans displays the recurring zero pattern.

Merch Design

In order to extend the reach of the brand beyond its primary product, I developed a range of merchandise that included t-shirts, stickers, and a mini fridge. These items would be available for purchase by brand enthusiasts or could be included in PR packages sent to influencers to increase online promotion of the brand.
