Art Photography: Digital

Photo Editing & Composition

While studying in Japan, I was fortunate to fit a photography class into my schedule and learn how to capture all the beautiful things around me. I was able to expand my knowledge of composition and color theory, as well as some crucial time management skills. I learned how to use my camera in new ways and give better critiques for photography work. Since taking this class, I’ve incorporated photography into my work more and it’s become a staple of my design style.

In order to stop my trip from feeling like a fever dream, I recorded short videos every chance I could to make a vlog for myself at the end of the semester. If you’re interested in taking a deeper look at everything I did in those four months, press play!

Every study-abroad kid needs a space to share about their trip so they don’t keep annoying everyone they know about it forever and ever. Thanks for taking a look at my life-changing time in Japan, I promise I’ll shut up about it now.
